This CSV file contains all the available information relating to the “World” “Cup” of “Random” “English” Words and is hereby released into the world free of charge for the benefit of anyone who may wish to use it for whatever purpose. Might be nice if you tip your hat to Lev if you do use it, but there’s no obligation to do so. He may, however, give you a look next time he sees you if you don’t.
The columns should be fairly self-explanatory. One word of warning: there are one or two duplicate words (sigh). There are four columns for each round: Group, Competitor, Votes and Position. Competitor is the identifier of the word in the round (i.e. the order in which they were presented to the voting public) and Position is the position after the vote. Yes, I know it’s a bit confusing but I was in a hurry, OK?
As far as the stats are concerned, MeanVotes is the mean number of votes for a word over all the rounds in which it took part, MaxVotes is the maximum number of votes it achieved in all these rounds and MinVotes is the minimum number of votes achieved in all these rounds. MaxVoteRound is the round in which the word achieved that maximum and MaxVoteGroup is the group in which it achieved it. Similarly for MinVoteRound and MinVoteGroup.
Any other questions, ask Lev or bother me on twitter here.
Have fun!
